An individual portrait in a slow aesthetic is for those who want to see themselves without roles and without the pressure of expectations.
The session is built around time and state of mind. What matters is not posing or the final result, but the process — how a person is in the moment, how they move, how they feel. This is what makes a portrait feel real and recognizable over time.
Where the individual portrait session takes place
I offer individual portrait sessions in Rimini, Cesena, San Marino and Pesaro.
The location is not just a background, but part of the atmosphere: city, sea, nature or interior, chosen according to the season, the light and how a person feels.
Choosing the location is part of the photo session process.
I suggest places in Rimini and the surrounding area that help reveal an inner state
and preserve a sense of presence.

How the session works
A slow rhythm, no script
The session does not follow a fixed plan.
There are no poses to perform and no result to chase — just time to move slowly and without pressure.
No need to know how to pose
You don’t need experience in front of the camera or to feel photogenic.
During the session, what matters is not “looking good” but staying present, with pauses, natural gestures and attention to your own sensations.
Natural light
I work with natural light, observing how it changes over time.
Sometimes waiting for the right moment is more important than speeding things up — light, rhythm and movement become part of the image.
Space for silence
There is room for silence during the session.
When there is no need to perform, real presence appears — and that is when the most honest portraits are created.
About the result
The result is not a collection of “good shots”, but a coherent series that reflects a moment and a rhythm.
The images remain simple, soft in light and honest in mood.
Post-production is minimal and gentle: I don’t change the person, but preserve natural features and a sense of reality.
These photographs often become part of a personal visual diary, including on social media, when there is a wish to share oneself in a calm and authentic way.
A common concern before the session
Many people come with the idea that a photographer should “make them look good”.
Behind this is often the fear of not recognizing oneself in the images or feeling disappointed with the result.
In my approach, the goal is not to create an ideal image, but to help a person see themselves as real and alive in the moment. Recognizing oneself is what makes the photographs feel close and accepted.
After the session, people often say not “I look good”, but “this feels like me” — and that is what eases the initial fear.
Individual portrait as an experience
This type of session is not about external effect.
It is about attention, pause and presence, without the need to prove anything.
What’s included in an individual photo session
Each individual session is created around the person, their state of mind, and their needs.
I don’t work with fixed packages or predefined scenarios — the format, duration, and details of each session are always discussed personally.
