I work in a slow rhythm. Without rush. Without predefined scenarios.
Slow aesthetics are about attention — to the moment and to what happens in between.
These sessions are not about a point on a map. They are about time — time that doesn’t need to be hurried.
Early mornings, when the world is just waking up. Sunrise by the sea. Cities with their Italian atmosphere — streets, shadows and pauses. Hills where nothing seems to happen, and mountains that hold a sense of eternity.
I am a photographer based in Rimini and I create photo sessions in Rimini and the surrounding areas — along the Adriatic coast, in historic districts of atmospheric borghi, small historic Italian towns, among hills, vineyards and olive groves of the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions.
The locations I choose share one thing: there is no need to rush, no need to play a role, and no need to “make” an image.
Here you can walk side by side, stop without a reason, stay silent, touch, and let the moment remain exactly as it is.
I have selected locations that work within this rhythm — regardless of the format: individual, couple, family or wedding photo sessions

Photo shoot locations
To help you navigate more easily, I’ve grouped the locations by type:
• Adriatic coast photo shoot locations
• Urban photo shoots in Rimini
• Photo shoots in San Marino
• Towns and borghi for photo shoots near Rimini
• Castles and isolated fortresses for photo shoots
• Mountains, hills, vineyards and olive groves

Beaches of Rimini and the nearby coast
The beaches of Rimini and the surrounding towns — Cesenatico, Bellaria Igea Marina, Riccione, Cattolica — stretch along a wide, open coastline with a strong sense of space and air.
These locations feel easy and natural to be in. There is room to move, to breathe, and to stay present, while the light changes continuously throughout the session.
They are ideal for photo sessions focused on natural movement and a relaxed rhythm. Walking side by side, stopping without a reason, talking or staying quiet — the session unfolds gently, without pressure or control.
Wild beaches and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Adriatic
These are less obvious places — away from promenades and tourist routes. Here there is more silence, more wind, and a stronger sense of scale.
The panorama of the sea and coastline helps step away from daily noise and remain in the moment — alone, without people around.
I often suggest these locations to those who are looking for a photo session that is deeply calm and contemplative, almost outside of time.

Historic center of Rimini
The historic center of Rimini is made of stone, arches, and narrow streets where it is easy to disappear into the space.
I most often photograph here early in the morning, when the city is not yet filled with people and its true rhythm can be felt.
These locations are suited for photo sessions where silence, movement without posing, and a sense of presence are essential.
Here, images are born from simple things — a step, a glance, light on a wall, and a pause between words.
Borgo San Giuliano
Borgo San Giuliano is one of the most vibrant and recognizable districts of Rimini.
Historically, it was a neighborhood of fishermen, artisans, and ordinary townspeople — a place outside the old city walls where life was always louder, more real, and slightly chaotic.
Over time, Borgo became the symbol of another Rimini — not monumental or tourist-oriented, but human, everyday, and warm.
Murals appeared here as a form of memory and play. Facades began to tell stories through film scenes, portraits of residents, and fragments of dreams — inspired by the world of Federico Fellini, born in Rimini and forever connected to cinema, imagination, and irony.
For this reason, Borgo is not an open-air museum. It is a neighborhood where art is woven into everyday life.
Colorful facades, painted walls, bright doors, traces of ordinary life, and the scent of morning coffee create a unique atmosphere — slightly dreamlike, yet deeply alive.
Nearby stands the Ponte di Tiberio — one of the city’s oldest and quietest symbols. Stone, water, and reflections create a sense of time that does not rush and does not demand attention.

San Leo
An ancient town built on a rock and considered impregnable for centuries. Historically, it was an important strategic point in the region.
A town at altitude, surrounded by wind and silence. A strong, clear space where time feels especially present.
Verucchio
One of the oldest towns in the Marecchia Valley, connected to the pre-Etruscan Villanovan culture.
Stone, ancient history, and views over the valley. Restrained, austere, cinematic. The rhythm is deep and calm.
Santarcangelo di Romagna
A town with Roman roots and a system of underground tuff caves, some of which remain mysterious to this day.
Lively and atmospheric. Arches, stairways, an old town center, wine bars. A place where the day unfolds gradually.
Pennabilli
A town associated with the poet Tonino Guerra, who saw it as a space for silence and reflection.
Poetic and very calm. Air, space, and pauses. Here it is easy to live the day without haste.
Bertinoro
Known as the “balcony of Romagna” for its panoramic position among vineyards.
Warm, bright, and open. Soft light and a sense of space. The rhythm is daytime and unhurried.
Petrella Guidi
A small village in the Marecchia Valley, largely untouched by tourist routes.
Very quiet and discreet. Few people, plenty of space. A feeling of complete intimacy.
Gradara
A medieval town with fully preserved defensive walls, famous for the story of Paolo and Francesca told by Dante.
An enclosed, clearly defined space. Stone, walls, and a sense of protection. Especially expressive in the morning and evening light.
Montegridolfo
A fortified borgo on the regional border, carefully restored with respect for its history.
Neat, well-kept, and very quiet. Views over the sea and the hills. Ideal for a slow weekend.
Mondaino
A town with a rare circular square, preserving the structure of a medieval settlement.
Cozy and harmonious. A space that does not overwhelm. The rhythm is even and daytime.
Montefiore Conca
A borgo that grew around the Malatesta family castle, with views over the hills and proximity to the sea.
Elegant and calm. Bright streets and small squares. Here, the day naturally slows toward evening.
San Giovanni in Marignano
A historic town with defensive walls and an open position among the hills.
Space, air, and light. A place where the day can be lived in parts, with pauses and shifts in rhythm.
Castello di Montebello (Azzurrina)
A medieval castle known for the legend of Azzurrina — a young girl who disappeared within its walls in the 14th century.
The fortress stands alone, above the hills of the Marecchia Valley. Its enclosed structure and distance from inhabited areas create a strong sense of isolation and pause.
Torriana
A fortress built on a rocky outcrop that once controlled the route between the coast and the inland areas of the region.
Today it is an open space with preserved walls and towers, wide panoramic views, and very limited tourist presence.
Rocca di Maiolo
Maiolo is what remains of a fortified stronghold on the top of a hill. The site has not been restored and remains difficult to access: car access is limited, and the final section requires an uphill walk.
What remains of the fortress are fragments of walls and towers, readable as traces of history, rather than as a complete architectural structure.
Castello di Albereto
A small castle set among rolling hills and rural landscape. Here, architecture does not dominate, but remains part of its surroundings.
The place retains a calm and understated character.
Which photo sessions are suited to castles and isolated fortresses
These locations are not suitable for every format — and that is precisely their strength.
Castles and isolated fortresses work especially well for:
• intimate weddings and elopements without a large number of guests
• couple photo sessions with a more contained and calm atmosphere
• symbolic ceremonies without scripts or decorations
It is important to consider that:
• some locations are far from towns
• certain places are difficult to access and require walking
• these sessions are best planned in a small format and at a slow pace throughout the day
Why choose castles and isolated fortresses
Castles and isolated fortresses are unique locations, different from one another and far removed from familiar scenarios.
Each place has its own history, its own form, its own scale, and its own limitations.
For this reason, a photo session here can never be universal.
The concept is always created individually — around a specific couple, their rhythm, their emotional state, and the format of the day.
This is not a ready-made template nor a repeatable solution, but an opportunity to create a truly unique story in a space that cannot be replicated.
It is a conscious choice, for those who are looking for something essential.

Mountains, hills, vineyards, and olive groves
If the sea is breath and the city is rhythm, then mountains and hills are a pause.
Here, space opens wider, movement slows down, and the day is not measured by the clock, but by light, shadow, and changes in the air.
This landscape is the natural foundation of slow living in the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions.
Hills, vineyards, and olive groves
Gentle terrain, unhurried roads, panoramas that unfold gradually.
Vineyards and olive groves are not decorative elements here, but part of everyday life — they shape the rhythm of the seasons and the flow of the day.
These are spaces where nothing needs to be added or rushed.

Mountains and high ground
The mountains of the region are more restrained and essential. Fewer details, more air, clear lines, and a sense of distance from everyday life.
These places create clarity and stability, where the day unfolds calmly and with focus.
They often remain underestimated — the sea is more frequently chosen, even though it is in the mountains that the feeling of silence and space reveals itself more deeply.
Thanks to their neutrality and scale, they are suitable for almost any type of photo session.
Water in the mountains
Mountain water is an even rarer and more distinctive element of the landscape.
These spaces are especially suited for pregnancy photo sessions, when it is important to slow down, stay connected to the body, and live through the waiting period without rush or tension.

Lago di Monte Pietracandella
A small mountain lake, located within a forest and almost completely hidden by trees.
There are no wide panoramas here and no mirror-like reflections. The lake feels like a refuge — quiet, enclosed, separate from the outside world.
Light filters in softly through the leaves, and silence becomes dense, almost physical.
This place is not about the view, but about presence.

Cascate della Conca
A waterfall in the Conca river valley — a living natural space where the movement of water becomes part of the silence.
Sound, humid air, stone, and shade create a bodily sense of place, where attention naturally slows down.

Why I choose these landscapes
They allow you to slow down and remain in the moment — in touch, in glances, in the feeling of being close.
Through movement and pauses, without scripts or pressure, stories emerge here that are not about the place or the image.
But about love —
quiet, real,
lived
in your own rhythm.
